As a 5th generation Kansan, I was born and raised right here in Shawnee. Shawnee has always and will always be my home. I ran for the Kansas House in 2016 after watching Kansas move backwards for far too long. We made great strides forward in funding our schools, making government more accessible and transparent, and balancing our budget.  I was honored to serve two terms in the House. 

 

After serving I was offered to join one of the top lobbying firms in Kansas, Capitol Strategies, LLC. Founded in 1974 by a former State Representative, John Peterson. As one of the longest standing firms in Kansas the Capitol Strategies team presents 30+ clients from all backgrounds. International corporations, to school districts, and small non-profits.
